Located approximately 2 hours from Lisbon by car, this beautiful hotel is part of a 780 hectare estate that has been owned by the same family for 8 generations.
The current owner has spent the last 14 years refurbishing the property, and the result is stunning - it’s simple, stylish and very elegant.
The estate runs alongside a 250 square km man made lake called ‘Lake Alqueva’ and you’ll also find olive groves, walled gardens, orchards, meadows and a vineyard. The estate has wonderful walking trails, and the hotel also provides bikes for exploring as well as horses for guests to take a ride.
They have an in-house restaurant that practices ‘farm-to-table’ wherever possible and they use many ingredients from the estate as well as locally sourced produce.
Facilities include a beautiful 20 metre swimming pool, a stunning Spa and a Fitness studio.
