HOTEL SANDERS, COPENHAGEN

Copenhagen has been on my radar for such a long time for its architecture, canals, bike riding, delicious food, excellent shopping and of course incredible design.

When I finally visit I’m definitely booking in to stay here at Hotel Sanders. Showcasing Danish design at it’s very best, this luxury hotel looks incredibly inviting, cosy, stylish and elegant. I love the mix of vintage and modern pieces they have used in the interior design, as well as the neutral, earthy tones, textural fabrics, wood and stone.

Two townhouses have been combined into one, to create this uber stylish 54 room, five-star hotel. It’s in a fantastic location in the historical centre on a quiet street behind the Royal Danish Theatre. Close to the Nyhavn canal, excellent shopping, art galleries, museums, the Royal Palaces and great restaurants - it’s the perfect spot to stay.

Of course you would expect attentive service here, and I can confirm that all of the reviews I have read rave about the friendly, charming and welcoming staff.

The hotel has an array of options for eating and drinking, including a charming inner courtyard with a walled garden and fireplace, a casual restaurant called ‘Sanders Kitchen’, a fantastic bar (Bar Tata) and a stunning rooftop conservatory and terrace overlooking the rooftops of Copenhagen.

I can’t wait to get here and may never want to leave!
