ORSA MAGGIORE HOTEL
Capri is known as being an expensive island to visit, frequented by the rich and famous. It was also even more beautiful and enchanting than I expected and I honestly can’t wait to visit again!! Hotel Orsa Maggiore is a gem of a small hotel located in quieter Anacapri and was a lovely, reasonably priced hotel to stay at.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming at all times - especially gorgeous Silvia (with her beautiful smile) who was extremely helpful to us booking restaurants, beach clubs and boat rides!
The pool area is lovely with superb views over the sea towards Naples, numerous sun-lounges, hammocks and sofas for relaxing. We dined poolside for lunch which was delicious as well as enjoying late afternoon aperitivo by the pool.
There is a lovely roof terrace with outdoor furniture to enjoy the view.
Our room was quiet, well decorated and had a beautiful, spacious terrace with views over the sea and surrounding area.
They have a free shuttle service that operates from morning to early evening which was extremely useful for moving around the island and getting to and from the Port. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
